FAQ
What is the power of the laser?
The power of the Babette Laser Projector is 4.95mW. All of the great effects that can be produced with the Babette Laser Effects System are at their best when spread out instead of just the single "laser pointer" line.
What are the safety precautions?
Please read the Babette Manual for a full description of the safety steps you must take before operating this laser projector.
Do I need a license or variance for operation?
No license or variance is necessary to operate and use this product.
Where should the Babette Laser Effects System be located in my haunt?
In any space that you use the system, it always should be pitch dark. No other lighting effect should be used in the same room that you use this system. The room should be fully enclosed. In the past, haunts have used it outdoors, but only if the fog or haze was very well contained, the pathway is narrow, and there is some sort of roof stopping the beams from going into the sky. Never point the laser projector into the sky, see more about laser safety in our Babette Manual.
Do you recommend fog or haze?
We recommend haze for the Babette Laser Effects System. The main difference between fog and haze is that haze is a thinner mist. It is not as thick and cloudy as fog can be. .
